maja started dancing at a young age with ballroom and competed in bugg and lindy hop international. her desire for travel and discovery introduced her to latin american dances, samba, cha-cha, rumba, paso double and jive, of which later she competed at the highest amateur level (2003-2008) her interest in contemporary dance and creative arts blossomed once she started her studies in the art and dance program in Sweden (2007). the following year she was selected as a member of varbergs dance company. maja then moved to berlin where she completed her three-year professional education in contemporary dance. in 2014 she presented her own choreography display where her talent for costume design was explored.
